The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation Board of Directors recently elected new officers for 2012.
Peter Clark retained his position as president and Elizabeth Booth remains vice president, both for a second term. Dan Reininga continues in his role as treasurer. Following the retirement of Rose Ann Falcone, John D'Agostino steps into the role of secretary.
Clark has a legal background as managing partner with Clark & Whipple LLC in Fredonia. Clark first served as an NCCF voting member and has served on the NCCF Board of Directors since 2003, previously holding the office of vice president. Clark resides in Fredonia with his wife Gail. They have three grown children.
Booth's position as director of Alumni Affairs at Jamestown Community College's Foundation gives her the leadership skills needed as vice president. Booth joined the NCCF first as a member of the Nominating Committee and then as a voting member before her election to the Board of Directors in 2010. Booth and her husband, Robert, live in Arkwright with their two children.
The role of treasurer is once again filled by Reininga. Reininga serves as president and chief executive officer of Lake Shore Bancorp and Lake Shore Savings as well as chairman of Graf Realty Corporation. Reininga began his affiliation with NCCF in 2003 serving on the Board of Directors. He has also served on the Nominating Committee and the Investment Committee. Dan lives in Fredonia with his wife, Wendy. They have four children.
D'Agostino has served on the Board of Directors since 2007 and participates on the Grants Committee. D'Agostino currently serves as publisher of the OBSERVER. D'Agostino also served as a NCCF voting member and is currently on the Grants Committee. His nonprofit support goes beyond NCCF to include the United Way, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce and Dunkirk Rotary. Residing in Dunkirk, D'Agostino and his wife, Catherine, have two children.
The NCCF was incorporated in 1986 as a tax-exempt charitable organization. Since its establishment, the NCCF has distributed more than $8.5 million in the community through its various grant programs. It is an organization inherently committed to enriching the northern Chautauqua community and encouraging local philanthropy.
