Scarecrow children's activity at festival looking for donations
The Heritage Harvest Festival is planning a "Make Your Own Scarecrow" event for children during the Harvest Festival on Sept. 15 in Gowanda.
This family-oriented event has been one of the most popular events, and has given children the opportunity to create their own scarecrow and take part in the Scarecrow Parade at the Glenn Colton Concert.
Volunteers have stepped up to continue this popular activity, but are in desperate need of old clothing, jeans, hats, etc. to make the scarecrows.
Any donations of old clothing would be greatly appreciated. Contact Barb Nephew at 532-5779 for more information.
