Albert "Jack" Jesse, 72, died Saturday (Aug. 25, 2012) at home in Cleveland, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Dunkirk on May 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Albert F. and Rose (Ryby) Jesse.
Jack, as he was known to family and friends, attended Cardinal Mindszenty High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961. A retiree of Ford Motor Co., he was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan.

Survivors include two brothers, Roy Jesse of Dunkirk and Frederick (Norine) Jesse of Ormond Beach, Fla. Also surviving is his best friend and caregiver Roland (Sonny) Peters of North Royalton, Ohio. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Natalie (Jesse) Tuczynski Wenke and a brother, Eugene Jesse.
Funeral services will be held at Veterans Cemetery in Cleveland with full military honors.
