Remembrance Run to be held for 9/11 11th anniversary

The 11th anniversary AMVETS 9/11 Remembrance Run will be held Saturday in memory of all those who perished in the attack. Registration will be held 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Valentine's (located at Water and Main streets in Fredonia).

The participants will depart at 11:30 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. This year the run will proceed down Temple Street and continue all the way down Central Avenue.

The fee is $15 per rider or $20 per passenger. Proceeds go to the Gowanda Fire Rescue. There will be coffee and snacks at registration, a 50/50 raffle, door prize, police escort, designated parking upon return, lots of bands and food to sample.
