The tractor pull starts at 11 a.m. with the car show opening at 10 a.m. Trophies for the car show will be awarded at 3:48 p.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 vehicles. Registration is $7. Cars, trucks, motorcycle and special interest vehicles are welcome. For more information on the car show, call 763-8659 or 763-6963.
New this year will be a flea market, craft show and a silent auction. There will also be Schuyler's chicken. The Busti Volunteer Fire Department and Southern Tier Chevy Car Club joined together three years ago to put together an antique tractor pull and car show. Due to its success, the event is looking to open the one day event to a flea market and other vendors. For the present, the fire department will supply food so no food vendors are needed. A vendor space is $10. All spaces are non-powered and located on good, firm well drained carnival grounds. The grounds can accommodate five acres of show area. Additional spaces have been created for any non pre-registered vendors who arrive and wish to set up on the day of the show. The $10 fee remains and must be paid for on site. This event is held rain or shine. Free parking is available and the site offers 20 acres of parking.
