It is alleged that Melissa A. Johnson, 39, of Ashville, slashed two tires on another person's vehicle at a location in Ashville during the late evening hours on Sunday.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, deputies charged Johnson with fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation.

Johnson was served an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.

Around 2:30 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle tailgating another vehicle headed eastbound on Route 20. The vehicle passed the vehicle ahead but failed to signal the lane change.

The vehicle was stopped and James Cisneros, 25, of Silver Creek, was found to be the driver.

After further investigation, deputies allege Cisneros was intoxicated and was charged with DWI, DWI per se blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, following too closely and unsafe lane change. Cisneros was issued traffic tickets and is to appear in the Town of Sheridan Court at a later date.

Around 5:10 p.m., deputies responded to an altercation on Hanover Road. Upon arrival, and after further investigation, it is alleged Christine Fuentes, 36, of Silver Creek, punched another person at her residence.

Fuentes was taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court. She was released and is to appear back in court at a later date.
