STOCKTON - An elderly Stockton man has been charged with sexual abuse of two young girls.

Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has charged Samuel L. Hoard with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual abuse on Sept. 11.

It is alleged Hoard, 78, of Parcell Road sexually abused two 8-year-old females in the evening hours of July 30 through Aug. 3. After a joint investigation of Child Protection Services, the Sheriff's Office, the District Attorney's office and New York State Police, an arrest warrant was issued by Justice Narducci of Town of Chautauqua Court.

Hoard was arrested at his residence without incident. He was arraigned before Justice Narducci and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu $15,000 cash or $30,000 property bond. The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County assisted with this investigation.
