Nancy Ann (VanValkenburg) Szynski, age 59, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Dunkirk, NY, died Friday September 7, 2012 at St. Catherine Laboure Health Care Center in Buffalo.
Nancy was born in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Dorothy (Marszynski) & Richard VanValkenburg.
Loving mother of Tina Smyczek, Peter John Szynski, Thadeus (Larissa) Szynski, and Sarah (Szynski) Storey. Doting grandmother to Nikita Smyczek, Jeralyn & Robert Majak, Jacob and Alexander Vasquez, Courtney Szynski, Aiden, Jackson & Seth Story, Ian & Conner Szynski. Also survived by her sister Sally (VanValkenburg) Kepple, a brother Paul VanValkenburg, her husband Peter Szynski, several nieces,nephews and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by sisters Katherine (VanValkenburg) Rugani and Linda (VanValkenburg) Szynski.
She was a former member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and St. Ann's Society.
