ANGOLA - Lake Shore (1-0, 3-2) won in convincing fashion in its first ECIC Division 2 boys volleyball match of the year, Wednesday.
The Eagles handled Sweet Home to the tune of 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.
Ryan Joslyn led the attack with 11 kills, eight blocks and a pair of aces while Tyler Freeman did work with seven kills, seven digs and also recorded a pair of aces.
Lake Shore also got strong contributions from Billy Pinter with five aces, five digs and 30 assists, and Dane Cala, who recorded six kills and four aces.
The Eagles travel to play Williamsville East on Tuesday.
