Wednesday Travel League - Kerry Murphy shot the low round of 76 at Elk Valley Golf Course in Girard, Pa. Murphy had a 1-over par 37 to lead the back nine while his front nine 39 was matched by Bill Merryweather and Ed Tofil. Butch Mackowiak won a tiebreaker over Dave Franklin to win the B Flight and Dan Kaszuba successfully defended his Elk Valley C Flight crown from last year. Winner of the Commissioner's Award was Lee Titus.

Wednesday Night Ladies League - Low team gross (98) went to the teams of Linda Kemp/Mimi Smith and Carroll Nalepa/Charity Mucha; low team net (63) went to Nalepa/Mucha; low individual gross (44) was Mucha and low individual net (30) was Nalepa; least putts (14) went to Linda Kemp.
The Fredonia All Sports Booster Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19 in room 600 at Fredonia High School. All teachers, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend.
Cassadaga Football Pig Roast Fundraiser
Feegan's Witch Kitch will be hosting a pig roast on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 1-8 p.m. to benefit the Cassadaga Midget Football program. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Trey Swartz got the start for the Titans striking out four while only allowing two hits in four innings. Jared Kowalski pitched in relief for the final three innings giving up just one hit.
Offensively, the Titans were led by Swartz and Lucas Green who both went 2 for 2 (double and single) and (two singles) respectively. Nolan Mages, Brendan Plaister and Alec Schrader all reached base safely in the win.
Fredonia is now 2-0 and looks to improve its record this weekend against the Academy of Stars.
Northern Chautauqua Catholic 12, St. Peter & Paul 4
NCCS (1-1) broke into the win column with a 12-4 drubbing of St. Peter & Paul of Hamburg.
Charlie Roth, Noah Fleckenstein (two runs) and Jack Penharlow each collected two hits while Daniel Barnes and Bryan Dempsey scored twice.
Barnes, Jack Gaken and Fleckenstein shared the pitching duties for the Monarchs, collectively striking out eight Saints batters.
The Purple and Gold try to make it two in a row today when they host St. Bernadette of Orchard Park at Bob Patterson Field at 10 a.m.
