GOWANDA - The Eden Raiders rushed for 430 yards en route to a 48-0 thumping of the Gowanda Panthers (0-3) on Friday in non-league high school football.
Eden was led by Joe Trippy's 108 yards rushing on 11 carries and Alex Smythe's 83 yards on 10 carries as the visitors jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead.
Gowanda's lone bright spot was the running of Brennan Geiger who rushed for 63 yards on 18 carries. The Panthers were plagued by two lost fumbles and seven penalties for 75 yards.
