Fredonia falls in double overtime?again

OLEAN - For the second straight game, the Fredonia Lady Hillbillies were on the losing end of a double overtime contest, this time at the hands of Olean on Friday in CCAA Division 1 girls' high school soccer.

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Lady Hillbillies scored two quick goals in the second half to take a 2-1 advantage. The first goal was scored by Devin Kowalewski off a feed from Morgan Genovese.

The second goal came from Genovese and was assisted by Emily Valvo.

Bre Dahn and Alayna Szot shared time in net and combined for 17 saves in a losing effort.

Fredonia returns to action Monday when it hosts Dunkirk at 4:30 p.m.
