Gloria M. Simmons, 83, of Ripley, NY died Sept. 14, 2012 at home.
She was born in North East, Pa., on Nov. 8, 1928 to the late Marie and Ray Law. She was married to the late Robert L. Simmons, who died in 1985.
Gloria is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne Simmons of Ripley and Lorraine Castady of Ukiah, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Laura A. Kelly; and sister Roberta Campaign.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Ripley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service and may call at the Mathews Funeral Home, 104 West Main St., Ripley Wednesday from 6-9.
