WESTFIELD - Bailey Gloss had her serve working as she recorded eight aces in Forestville's CCAA Division 3 volleyball win over Westfield on Thursday.
Forestville (5-1, 3-1) won in three straight games with scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-23.
The Lady Hornets also received strong performances from Cherish Pope (five kills, block), Alisha Szumigala (three kills, three blocks), Ryanne Dugan (18 assists) and Sydney Youngberg (four aces).
Hilary Nelson played well for Westfield (1-6, 0-4) with five aces, three blocks and a pair of kills while teammate Jen LaPorte added three blocks, three aces and five assists.
Westfield has some time off before it travels to play Chautauqua Lake on Tuesday while Forestville also takes to the road to play North Collins, Monday.

NORTH COLLINS - North Collins upped its record to 4-1 on the young season with a CCAA Division 4 win over Sherman, Thursday in girls high school volleyball.
Christine Blidy dished out 20 assists and Jasmine Silkov added six kills and three aces as the Lady Eagles won 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

Elle Reed was the standout player for Sherman (2-2) with four kills, five blocks, two digs and an ace.
North Collins doesn't get much rest as it plays in West Valley today.
BROCTON - Kyoko Inagaki's four service points and two kills highlighted a rough night for the Brcoton Lady Bulldogs (1-4) in a 25-9, 25-2, 25-13 loss to Ellicottville (5-0) on Thursday in CCAA Division 4 girls' high school volleyball action.
Jess Putcher added two kills and two blocks in a losing effort.
The Lady Eagles were led by Maddie Szpaicher's 24 service points, 10 aces and nine kills.
ANGOLA - Ryan Joslyn's 10 kills and seven blocks lifted the Lake Shore Eagles (3-0, 4-2) to a 25-10, 25-20, 25-18 victory over Williamsville South on Thursday in boys' high school volleyball action.
Dane Cala added seven kills while Billy Pinter charted 28 assists, eight aces and five digs in the win. Clark Bruckl finished with five kills and as many blocks for the Eagles.
