A Stockton man has been charged with driving while intoxicated in Westfield while having children in the car.
Nathan R. St. Don, 35, of Dean Road, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated while having a child less than 16 years of age in the vehicle, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and speeding on Sept. 16.
At 6:08 p.m. Westfield Police stopped St. Don for speeding on East Main Street.
Upon further investigation, it was found that he was allegedly intoxicated. St. Don also had four children under the age of 16 in the vehicle when he was stopped.
A DMV check revealed St. Don's driving privileges were revoked for a prior DWI charge and had a prior conviction of DWI in the past 10 years.
St. Don was taken into custody where he refused a chemical test. He was arraigned in Village of Westfield Court. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $15,000 cash or $20,000 property bail.
