Sarah B. "Sally" (McGonagle) Burley, age 79, of Fredonia, NY, died Tuesday September 18, 2012 at her Fredonia home.
Born February 7, 1933 in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rebecca (Quigley) McGonagle. Her husband, William G. Burley, whom she married on September 3, 1955, died in 2004.
Mrs. Burley was the former owner of Window Treatments by Sally. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Fredonia and a member of Fredonia American Legion Post #59 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting, sewing and reading.

Mrs. Burley is survived by her 7 children: Michael (Paula) Burley of Poland, Ohio, Timothy (Ann) Burley of Ramsey, NJ, Marian (Scott) Becker of Liverpool, NY, Rebecca (Richard) Armella of Fredonia, NY, Linda (Christopher) Moll of Williamson, NY, Patricia (Brian) Ruh of Tonawanda, NY, and Sarah (Don) Curtis of Charleston, SC. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters: Julia, Anne, and Bridget.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her in-laws, George and Ferne Burley and six siblings.
Friends and family may call at St. Joseph Church R.C., 145 E. Main Street, Fredonia, NY, (Please use side door) today from 6-8 p.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Burley's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
