SILVER CREEK - Emmy award-winning trumpeter Chiz Rider will appear in concert at Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church of Silver Creek Saturday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m. The church is located at 60 Buffalo St.
Rider performs more than 250 concerts annually throughout North America and in several international tours. He has performed with a variety of popular artists including, Michael W. Smith, DC Talk, and the Newsboys for a Billy Graham crusade, for President Bush, several governors' prayer breakfasts, and at opening ceremonies at Pennsylvania and West Virginia Special Olympics. Rider opens for many professional sports events worldwide. He won an Emmy award for "Outstanding Broadcast Performance" and plays for Light Music and VH-1.
Playing since age 7 and recording since age 15, Rider has nine CD titles out. His music appeals to every age and musical taste.
