Our Lady of Fatima Society
The Our Lady of Fatima Society of Blessed Mary Angela parish met on Sept. 11. President Sue Nickle welcomed the members back. Final reports of the annual fundraiser were given by Dorothy Buffa.
Nickle asked the members for more ideas for options concerning other fundraisers. Members were reminded that the Mass at 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month is for Fatima Society members, both living and deceased. Next Mass is on Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. at St. Hyacinth worship site.
There will be a Living Rosary on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. This is sponsored by the Rosary Society of Blessed Mary Angela Parish.
Refreshments were served from a table centered with a statue of Mary and fall flowers. Live violet plants and small scarecrows decorated tables. Committee was Joan Collins, Sylvia Gorka and Dorothy Krystofiak. Committee for October will be Mary Ann Panfil, Judy Szukala and Diane Graves.
