Brocton, Westfield schools seek advisory committee members

The Brocton Central School District and the Westfield Academy and Central School District are in the beginning stages of a consolidation study between the two districts. Each district is charged with selecting 10 interested district residents to sit on an Advisory Committee. These individuals must be residents of the district they represent. Interested members should be open minded to the consolidation study; willing to be an active participant within the committee and able to make one or two meetings a month, starting in October and ending in late January 2013.

If you are interested in helping the Brocton Central School District with this study and wish to be considered for this Advisory Committee, call Linda Miller, Board of Education Clerk at (716) 792-2173 or email her at lmiller@broc.wnyric.org with your name and your contact information so that you can be contacted. Deadline for letters of considerations is Monday, Oct. 1.

Westfield Academy and Central School District with the study, please call Tina Winslow at 326-2151 or email at twinslow@wacs2.wnyric.org. The deadline for Westfield letters of consideration is Friday, Sept. 28.
