Fredonia Police Department

Gregory M. Faso, 37, of Liberty Street was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on Sept. 2. He was observed by police driving on Water Street with a suspended license. Faso's license was suspended due to an insurance lapse. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Victoria Welch, 19, of Forbes Place was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sept. 20. At 4:54 a.m. police were called for the report of a person in a shared hallway of Welch's residence. Upon arrival, police discovered Welch who was highly intoxicated who indicated she lived at the residence. Police found her to be in possession of marijuana. She was released on an appearance ticket.

Joshua T. Ricotta, 18, of Kennedy, Joshua T. Heath, 21 of Falconer and Larry F. Sheldon, 22 of Dunkirk were all charged with disorderly conduct on Sept. 22. At 2:12 a.m. police were called to Barker Common for the report of a fight between Sheldon and Ricotta. Once in police custody, Heath was allegedly swearing and causing a scene.

All three males were released on an appearance ticket.

Aaron M. Cole, 21, of Dunkirk was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and having an open container on Sept. 21. At 11:51 p.m. police were on routine patrol on Cushing Street when they observed Cole with an open container. Cole was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Stephen T. Saviola, 21, of Forest Place was charged with having an open container on Sept. 21. At 11:45 p.m. police were on patrol on Central Avenue and observed Saviola with an open container. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Corey T. Short, 21, of Eagle Street was charged with disorderly conduct on Sept. 22. At 1:03 a.m. police were walking on Water Street when they saw Short punch another individual multiple times. Police found that Short had a warrant for the Jamestown Police Department. Short was released on an appearance ticket then turned over to the Jamestown Police Department.

Lance C. Ellis, 26, of West Main Street was charged with second-degree harassment on Sept. 23. At 1:52 a.m. police observed Ellis punch another male in the face in a parking lot on Water Street. Ellis was released on an appearance ticket.

Joshua R. Hayes, 24, of Brigham Road was charged with having an open container on Sept. 23. At 12:12 a.m. police observed Hayes exiting a vehicle with an open container in downtown while on foot patrol. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Emily J. Barrett, 17, of Alumni Hall, SUNY Fredonia was charged with violating the sewer ordinance on Sept. 23. At 12:42 a.m. police observed Barrett urinating in the west municipal parking lot. She was released on an appearance ticket.
