Shock and disbelief. How else can you characterize the events in the town of Clymer and its school?
Our sympathies go out to the district and the family of Superintendent Keith Reed Jr., who was found near his home on Monday, and died at age 51.
"A crime like this is very disturbing," said Sheriff Joseph Gerace on Monday. "We're going to be working tirelessly until we can get some answers."
Residents across the county also are looking for answers and wondering what could have happened.
Those with any information, however, are encouraged to call the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office at 753-2131 or the District Attorney's Office at 753-4241.
