Robert A. Lemanski, age 73, of Dunkirk died September 24, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Buffalo, NY with his family by his side.
Born Aug. 19, 1939, he was the son of Harry and Bernice Lemanski.
Robert was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked with Meals on Wheels following his retirement as a butcher with local area supermarkets.

His memberships included the Dom Polski Club and the Moniuszko Social Club.
Survivors include sons Robert H. (Donna) and Brandon (Sheri) of Florida, Jason of Las Vegas, Jamie (Stephanie) of Texas; daughters, Joell (Joe) Stephens of Fredonia, Colleen (Jeff) Smith of Utah and Janay (Grant) Rogers of Florida; 12 grandchildren, Shawna, Alyssa, Tyler, Kacie, Norah, Breanne, Willow, Liberty,
Cory, Lydia, Ian and Kayla; brothers, James (Patty) of Dunkirk, Martin (Holly) of Virginia and Brian (Sally)
of Fredonia; sisters Kathy (Steve) Dinger of Cleveland, Lori (Gary) Richardson of Dunkirk and Camille (Jimmie) Tolbert of Ripley; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Christopher, Harry Jr. and Timothy; and two sisters, Maryann Odebralski and Cheryl Berry.
Family and friends may call at the St. Hyacinth's Church, 295 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, Sept. 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be made to Meals on Wheels or the Office of the
Aging.
