CLYMER - After a day of searching for evidence in the case of the murder of Keith Reed Jr., answers are still scarce.
According to Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace, an autopsy Tuesday morning confirmed that his death was due to multiple gunshot wounds. The death has also been officially ruled a homicide. At this time, investigators are working on interviewing individuals and following up on leads.
"At the same time that the investigators are working, we're also working on evaluating evidence that has already been collected," Gerace said.
Family members say one of Reed's daughters was most likely the last person to see him when he met her for dinner. According to the family, the body was found roughly 150 feet from the house near the property line.
Authorities have not released the type of gun used in the killing, and have not released names of possible suspects.
