Name released in Jamestown home invasion

JAMESTOWN - A 26-year-old Warren, Pa., man has been identified after a home invasion on Wednesday.

Henry L. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene by Chautauqua County coroner Richard M. Mackowiak after officers found Smith in a yard a short distance from the home at 112 Barker St.

An autopsy was scheduled for sometime this morning. The second subject, who also was stabbed during the incident, is being treated at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.

An investigation into the incident is continuing.
