Fredonia-Pomfret History Calendars are still available
The 2013 Fredonia-Pomfret History Calendars are still available in a limited quantity, according to Pomfret Town Historian Todd Langworthy.
Calendars are $10 each and available for purchase daily at the Book Nook at the D & F Plaza. The calendars will be available at the store until sold out, along with all of the other local history books by Langworthy. The calendars make great gifts for the holidays, especially for those who enjoy learning about the history of our area. The calendars are full of historical pictures, along with a wealth of local historical information all printed in laser quality. Arcadia Publishing has announced that Langworthy's "Images of America: Pomfret" has now gone on sale in digital format at their website at: www.arcadiapublishing.com/9780738555478/Pomfret.
The book was released for the Pomfret Bicentennial in 2008 and has continued to be an excellent seller ever since. Arcadia has made many of their local history books available in digital format, with a full list of books available on their main web page.
