Driver safety course set

September 28, 2012
The OBSERVER

BROCTON - The Ahira Hall Memorial Library, 37 W. Main St., Brocton, will be offering its first fall AARP Driver Safety Course on Oct. 15 and 17 from 9 a.m. until noon. The class, though targeted at senior drivers, is open to any age New York state licensed driver.

Class fee is payable by check only to AARP; no cash will be accepted. Fee for AARP members is $17 ($34 per couple) and non-AARP members pay $19 ($38 per couple).

Participants should bring a pen, driver's license, and AARP membership card to class. Come at least 10 minutes early on the first day to allow time to sign in. Register by phone first at 792-9418 as class size is limited and fills quickly.

For those who register and find they are unable to attend, keep the phone number to cancel the reservation as a waiting list is always kept of others needing to take the class. Feel free to bring a seat cushion if unable to sit for long periods of time.
