BUFFALO - The Northern Chautauqua County Boxing Club had a successful showing Friday at the St. John International Boxing Center in Buffalo.
Anthony Mendez won his 110-pound sub novice match over Rochester's Ahmed Abbi via unanimous decision.
Meanwhile, Giovanni Diaz won his 132-pound sub-novice match with a second-round stoppage of Jalen Wright.
Eddy Torres lost via split decision to Rocky Vazquez.
