Bill and Karen (Cunningham) Crocker will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6 with their family in San Jose, Calif. Bill is retired from the US Navy and healthcare administration, and Karen was the library technician for 23 years at the Sutter County Branch Library in Sutter, Calif.
Bill is the son of Wilson and Clara Crocker, formerly of Fredonia. He was an OBSERVER news carrier during the late 1940s. Karen spent her teen years in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Crockers met in a Riley Hospital for Children research laboratory in Indianapolis in September 1960. They have lived in Yuba City, Calif., for 23 years.
