FALCONER - Fredonia fell to 2-4 in CCAA Division 1 girls' high school soccer with a 3-1 loss to Falconer, Monday.
"The first two minutes of the game we played hard," Fredonia coach Cathy Cruver said. "It was an emotional game and I don't know what it was, but we played flat."

Falconer's Andrea Volk netted the only goal of the first half and the Lady Golden Falcons went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
That lead lasted all of two minutes into the second half as the Lady Hillbillies were able to tie that game on a goal by Morgan Genovese. The assist went to Zoya Katta.
"It was very big," Cruver said of the quick goal. "It should have been the turnaround for us, but we were flat."
Ten minutes after Fredonia tied the game, Volk untied it with her second goal, which proved to be the game winner.
"Falconer coming back and scoring on us was tough," Cruver admitted. "But no excuses, we should have rallied."
Rhea Moore gave Falconer an insurance goal with time winding down.
Fredonia looks to get back in the win column when it hosts Olean on Wednesday.
