Dunkirk-Silver Creek swim past Fredonia behind Drummond,?Cymerman

SILVER CREEK - Riley Drummond and Katie Cymerman were double winners Tuesday, as Dunkirk-Silver Creek swam past Fredonia, 102-80, during CCAA Division 1 girls' swimming action at Silver Creek High School.

Drummond touched the wall first in the 200-yard individual medley, as well as the 100 backstroke, in times of 2:43.23 and 1:08.99, respectively. Cymerman was first in the 200 freestyle (2:24.95) and the 500 freestyle (6:46.12).

Also for Dunkirk-Silver Creek, Anna Hartinger took first in the 100 freestyle (1:00.72) while also helping the 4x50 and 4x100 freestyle relay teams to first-place finishes. The 4x50 team of Hartinger, Allie Gorka, Marissa Restivo and Cymerman took first in a time of 1:57.72 while the 4x100 team of Hartinger, Lilly Rollins, Restivo and Drummond touched the wall first in a time of 4:36.78.

Silver Creek-Dunkirk’s Riley Drummond was a double winner in leading Silver?Creek-Dunkirk past Fredonia on?Tuesday in girls’ high school swimming.

Rollins took the diving event with her score of 147.15.

For Fredonia, Katie Webster took first in the 100 butterfly (1:12.87), as well as the 100 breaststroke (1:18.31) while also helping the 4x50 medley relay team to a first-place finish in a time of 2:13.67. Joining Webster were Mikayla Reynolds, Lauren Skellie and Lindsey Lovern.

Reynolds took first in the 50 freestyle in a time of :28.44.
