Carol D. Berry, age 65, of Dunkirk, formerly of Sunset Bay and Sarasota, Fla., passed away on Wednesday (Oct. 3, 2012) at her residence.
She was born May 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Andrew and Cora (Pfeifer) Hudak.
A very active and helpful member of her community, Carol wrote a newsletter for the Steger Apartments where she lived and was a past member at the Sunset Bay Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. For a number of years, she lived in Sarasota, Fla., with her late husband, Norman Berry.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin M. (Melinda) Weiskerger of Sunset Bay, N.Y., and Rob A. (Meghan Covert) of Irving, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Kaelee and Rylee Weiskerger; one brother, Raymond A. (Maureen) Hudak Sr. of Sunset Bay; and a nephew, Raymond A. (Michelle) Hudak Jr. of Midland, Mich.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Madelyn and Alysen Weikerger.
