Village Trustee and former Brocton Mayor J. Dale Abram was surprised Wednesday at the close of the Village Board of Trustees meeting by an official recognition from the New York Conference of Mayors for 35 years of dedicated service to the Brocton community. Serving as trustee in previous administrations, Abram has ushered Brocton through some major projects and carried through important decisions during his time as mayor for the betterment of village residents. He's pictured here, with current Mayor Dave Hazelton and Trustee Nick Rizzo.
