SINCLAIRVILLE - Phyllis A. Christy Klein, 66 of Sinclairville died Friday, October 5, 2012 at Buffalo General Hospital.
Born Nov. 10, 1945 in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Donald and Eveline Lewis Christy. A Chautauqua County resident most of her life, she was a Cassadaga Valley Central School alumni.
While living in New Jersey she was employed as a custodian and crossing guard for the Pemberton School District. Her and her husband were managers of the former Sinclairville Hotel.
She was a member of the Sinclairville VFD Ladies Auxiliary.
Phyllis enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her "extended family" at the Sinclairville Superette.
Wife of 29 years to the late Henry A. Klein who she eloped with on Jan. 5, 1974 and whom died Sept. 6, 2003; sister of Della (Larry) Downey, Harold (Sheryl) Christy all of Sinclairville and the late Howard (late Norma) Christy; niece of Sylvia (Delbert) Nickerson of Cassadaga. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service 12 p.m. Wednesday in Ever-green Cemetery, Sinclairville. No prior visitation. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
