Derek M. Johnson has been appointed branch manager at the M&T Bank branch located insider the Tops store at 3955 Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk.
Johnson has served as an assistant branch manager for M&T since 2010 and previously served as a branch manager with Citizens Bank.
Johnson will lead the M&T branch team's outreach to individual and small business customers to understand their unique needs and deliver personalized solutions that help customers reach their financial goals. He will also work with M&T partners to provide investments, insurance and mortgage services through the branch.

He attended high school at the Springville Griffith Institute and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises at Syracuse University. Johnson resides in Springville and has served as a volunteer with Springville Youth Incorporated.
