Emily "Eme" Bielaszka, formerly of Beagle Street, Dunkirk, NY died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Absolut of Dunkirk after an extended illness.
She was 92 years of age, born in Dunkirk on August 11, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Jasiak) Bielaszka. A life-long Dunkirk resident, Miss Bielaszka was a retired employee of Brooks Memorial Hospital and a former employee of Van Raalte. She was an avid bingo and pinochle player. She was a member of Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish-St. Hyacinth's Church.
Surviving are her nieces, Carol (Bielaszka) Gaddis of Fredonia, NY, Mary Ann (Vincent) Vitale of Hamburg, NY and Patricia (Thomas) Low of Hilton, NY; her sisters-in-law, Josephine Bielaszka of Fredonia, and Joan Bielaszka of Dunkirk; and her best friend, Mary Jane Michalak. Grand nephews, grand niece, great grand nieces and great grand nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers and a sister-in-law, Edmund Bielaszka, Matthew Bielaszka and Stephen Bielaszka and Florence Bielaszka.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish-St. Hyacinth's Church. Private interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc.
