Bambina Ruscitto

Bambina "Bambi" Ruscitto, age 95, of Erie, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012. She was born in Erie on November 11, 1916 a daughter of the

late Ralph and Dolores DiCesare Monocello. She worked as a time keeper at General Electric for 35 years. She was a member of St. George Church. She prayed the rosary daily and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. Bambi enjoyed gardening, arranging flowers and doing crafts. She volunteered at Pleasant Ridge East for years, helping the residents there make crafts. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Most of all Bambi loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Gaetano Caracciolo, Dennis L. Shively

and Angelo Ruscitto; and a sister Rose Macek. Bambi is survived by her children Carmela DiValerio, husband Richard of Orchard Park, NY, Alfonso Caracciolo, wife Connie of Nutley, NJ and Dennis R. Shively, wife Paula of Fredonia, NY; sixteen grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Peter Monocello and John Monocello, Sr.; two brothers-in-law, Gene Ruscitto and Joe Ruscitto and his wife Aggie and much extended family. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
