CLYMER - On Oct. 4, a Sherman man was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, operation in violation of restrictions, speed not reasonable and following too close after an accident.

Around 3:50 a.m. deputies were called to Clymer Corry Road for an auto accident. Investigation showed that William McKillip, 37, of Clymer, was operating a vehicle north on Clymer Corry Road and rear-ended a farm tractor that was also traveling north.

The operator of the farm tractor, Casie Gunsolus, 46, of Clymer, was ejected from the tractor and was transported to Corry Hospital for minor injuries. Both the vehicle and tractor were damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

McKillip will appear in Clymer court on a later date.

ELLERY - On Thursday, a Jamestown woman was jailed after being charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, operating without insurance, and expired inspection.

Around 11:15 a.m., sheriff's patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 430 in the town of Ellery. Investigation led to the operator of the vehicle, Dawn M. McCutcheon, 38, of Jamestown, had a revoked New York State driver's license. McCutcheon's privileges were revoked for a prior alcohol-related driving offense.

McCutcheon was arraigned in the Town of Ellery Court and later sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
