The Dunkirk Free Library is preparing for its 22nd annual Library Auction on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Dunkirk Moose Club. The auction is a night out that the community members enjoy and an important part of the library's fundraising program.
Donations from community members and local businesses are auctioned off by professional auctioneer Jim Tofil, who volunteers his time and expertise to help the library. Donations are listed on the library website and on display in the library before the auction so the community can get a preview of the items available.
Donations will be accepted until Nov. 1. All proceeds from the auction go to support the Dunkirk Free Library and ensure community members' access to books, DVDs, magazines, computers, children's programs and much more.
