Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity announces website

October 15, 2012
The OBSERVER

The Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity is delighted to announce its new website which will make volunteering and applying to become a family partner easier and more accessible.

The new website can be viewed by logging on to www.habitatchaut.org.

Founded in 1989, Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit organization offering a hand up, not a handout. CAHfH is a 100 percent volunteer organization that has created home ownership with 24 low income working families throughout Chautauqua County. Homeowner Families are selected through an application process based on their need for decent housing, ability to pay on a no-interest mortgage, and their willingness to partner with Habitat volunteers, including working hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" on their Habitat house. Volunteers make this ministry possible, so individuals and groups are invited to donate their time and talents.

Please visit our new website at www.habitatchaut.org.
