Robert Lynn Darbee "Darb" passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Ludowici, GA on October 11th, 2012. Darb was born on July
25th 1949 in California to the late Lyle and Wanda Darbee of Collins Center, NY. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan (Darbee) Schlachter of Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a loving father to his daughters, Jennifer Darbee of Silver Creek and Sara (Darbee) Woodson of Ludowici, GA and the proud grandfather of Sommer Sharritt, Malachi Woodson, Issac Woodson, all of Ludowici, GA and Brooke Perryman of Silver Creek. Darb served his country in the U.S. Army and also is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a welder and machinist who worked, lived and raised his daughters in Sheridan, NY. He later retired to Ludowici, GA to be closer to his grandchildren. He enjoyed his flower garden and loved spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father who will be greatly missed.
