The Dunkirk High School Class of 1982 recently held their reunion at Point Gratiot. A special collection was taken for a new park bench with a plaque
remembering classmates that have passed on. The extra money was used
for a cement base for the bench and for two large hickory trees to be planted in the park. The class appreciates the help of the City of Dunkirk Parks Department, Tony Gugino, Lisa Mackowiak and Mark Woods. It is the Class of 1982's hope that more class reunions from different class years will also join in maintaining Point Gratiot's scenic appearance.
