Mozzarella-making demo slated for Saturday at Liberty Vineyards & Winery

SHERIDAN - First Light Farm and Creamery of East Bethany will be at Liberty Vineyards & Winery Saturday offering mozzarella-making demonstrations from noon and 2 p.m. First Light cheese samples will also be available with wine tasting that day.

The free mozzarella-demo is open to the public. First Light plans to have cheese-making kits available for sale that day. Wine tasting with cheese samples will be available for $2 per person.

First Light Farm & Creamery is a farmstead creamery that produces artisan cow's milk and goat's milk cheese. Brothers Max and Trystan Sandvoss founded First Light Farm & Creamery after years of apprenticing for artisan creameries in the Pacific Northwest.

Liberty Vineyards & Winery is a small, family-owned winery producing over 20 wines from locally-grown grapes. The winery is located at 2861 Route 20 in Sheridan and is open for tastings and sales Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit www.libertywinery.com for more information.
