Library holds patriot talk today

October 24, 2012
The OBSERVER

A Meet-A-Liberty Patriot talk is set for 5:30 p.m. today at the Farman Free Library, Thornton Road across from the town park, Ellington.

The talk will focus briefly on riflemen preliminaries, the Battle of Bunker Hill, General Mad Anthony Wayne, and the Black Regiment. Emphasis will be targeted on Tom Jefferson and his co-patriot's understanding of People's Law, as opposed to Ruler's Law, and their wisdom in founding a constitutional republic. Some Founding Fathers, such as Jefferson, have been slandered and libeled beyond reason. What is the proper role of government in a constitutional republic? When and where did America's troubles start with Muslims? What was Jefferson's and Fisher Ames's position regarding the First Amendment?

Call 490-3880 for more information.
