Strap on the aprons and gather some wooden spoons - Chiara De Santi will be hosting the third CIAO cooking class at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. The featured menu is rotoli (as appetizer), pasta alla puttanesca (primo), and torta di mele (apple cake) as dessert. Participants will be able to get immersed in the preparation of the meal.
Anyone wishing to attend must make reservations by Sunday. All participants will share in the meal. Cost of this fun-filled evening is $12 for guests and $10 for members. Payment must be made with reservations.
Participants should bring their own place setting, an apron, a cookie pan with borders (not all will be used, but some are needed), a cake pan and a kitchen brush. First, the group will prepare the rotoli and put in the oven, then the sauce for the pasta and finally the cake.
