You may have your mind made up after watching the presidential debates on who you will vote for to lead America, but do you know the local candidates?
Tonight at the Fredonia Opera House, residents have the chance to ask questions of those running for state Assembly District 150 and Chautauqua County Court justice. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will also be televised on local access cable TV.
According to the news release, the session "will begin with short statements from the candidates, but the rest of each session will be devoted to questions from the audience." Running for the Assembly are incumbent Andrew Goodell and challenger Rudy Mueller while Judge John Ward seeks re-election against William Coughlin.
Election Day is less than two weeks away. This may be the last opportunity to help in your voting decisions.
