Pine Valley’s Josh Kilburn (32) looks to make a move past Franklinville’s defense, during their Chuck Funke Class D Bowl final, Thursday, at Southwestern High School.

Pine Valley's lone score came in the first quarter, as senior Josh Kilburn scored form 6-yards out.

"We tip our hat to the seniors," Pine Valley head coach Chris Buczek said. "We only had three and Josh, at the end of the year, turned into a machine."

The other two seniors playing their final game for Pine Valley were Lucas Trombley and Nicholas Sandy.

"They kept the team motivated," Buczek said. "They kept the team going. They were a bunch of kids that didn't miss practice and held the younger players accountable.

"Even though it's a small group, it's a real tough group to lose, because of how hard they worked" Buczek continued. "And how hard they worked for me. It's just tough to lose that bond."
