Man accused of sexual contact with children

The New York State Police have charged David L. Goodworth, 53, of Lily Dale with two counts of first-degree sexual conduct against a child and one count of first-degree reckless endangerment. All charges are felonies.

The arrests stem from an investigation in which it is alleged Goodworth had inappropriate sexual contact with children. Troopers did not specify the number of children that were allegedly victimized.

The defendant has been sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500,000 cash, $1,000,000 property bail.

The State Police are continuing this investigation in an effort to identify any other children who may have been victimized by Goodworth. Anyone who may have information beneficial to this investigation is encouraged to contact the State Police at Jamestown at (716)665-3113.
