Richard G. Willoughby

Richard Glenn Willoughby, 77, of Cassadaga died Saturday morning (Oct. 27, 2012) at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.

He was born Sept. 20, 1935 in Toronto, Ohio, the son of the late Russell and Edna (McKeown) Willoughby.

He was a Staff Sargent in the U.S. Marine Corps for 13 years and also belonged to the American Legion Post 1280 in Cassadaga.

Mr. Willoughby had been employed by the Special Metals Corporation in Dunkirk, retiring in 2000 as a foreman.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Loretta (Housley) Willoughby; two sons, Michael (Judy) Willoughby of Dunkirk and Jeffrey (Linda) Willoughby of Cassadaga; one sister, Gail (Clark) Wilder of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three granddaughters, Ashley, Allyson, and Alycia Willoughby; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
