Twenty years ago - 1992

The "Westfield Skeleton Murder Case" which was recently filmed here, will air on Channels 2 and 12 as a segment of the "A Current Affair" television show. Dist Atty. John T. Ward Jr. was interviewed for the show earlier this week as were the family of the victim, Frank Carol of Painesville, Ohio, whose skeleton was found in the woods off Coon Road in the town of Westfield in 1981, but was not identified until two weeks ago.

Thirty years ago - 1982

Evan John Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Kelley of Brocton, will be seen in the role of Merlyn in the St. Edward's University (Austin, Texas) production of "Camelot." A 1979 graduate of Brocton Central High School, Evan has participated in several other productions, including "Equus," "Light Up The Sky," and "Our Town."

Forty years ago - 1972

Seventeen living charter members of the Dunkirk Hose Co. No. 1 Drum Corps were honored recently at the organization's 40th anniversary banquet.

Fifty years ago - 1962

A mechanical Concord grape harvester, which has been in the development stage for the past three years, has been undergoing final testing in this 1962 grape harvest. The picker has been operating in the vineyard of Lester Ingham, West Main Road, Fredonia who is one of 12 growers cooperating in the demonstrations.
