State Police at Jamestown
On Oct. 31, Kenny Moore, 19, of Erie, Pa., was turned over the Jamestown Police Department on a warrant for menacing and criminal impersonation. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Moore was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by a trooper for a reported traffic violation on Route 394 in Jamestown. The officer checked for warrants and found Moore was wanted by police in Jamestown. When apprehended, he was searched. Reportedly, he had a bag containing one gram of marijuana in his possession.
He was turned over to police in Jamestown.
ELLICOTT - On Nov. 1, Benjiman Putnam, 22, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Putnam was the driver of a vehicle pulled over on Route 394 for a reported traffic violation. While speaking to Putnam, the officer reportedly detected the smell of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and Putnam. He reportedly located three grams of marijuana near the driver's seat.
Putnam was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled for the Town of Ellicott Court later this month.
On Monday, Carrie Renner, 46, of Falconer was charged with driving while intoxicated. She was pulled over on East Second Street in Jamestown for a reported traffic violation. She reportedly failed several field sobriety tests.
She was transported to state police barracks in Ellery where the breath sample she provided was reported to be .16 percent. In addition, there was an active warrant for her arrest by the Jamestown Police Department. She was turned over to them and is being held pending arraignment.
